A week later….

and I’m finally back to tell you about our time at the pool.

Both of the girls picked up where they left off and acted like it was just last week they were swimming and not last Summer.

Last year, Summer was really hesitant to get in the larger pool where she couldn’t touch the bottom. This year she got right in and loved it.

While we were in the big pool, a photographer from our local newspaper asked Joe if she could take his and the girls’ pictures while they were playing near the steps. The next day there was a big picture in the Metro section, of him and Summer playing, with Camryn and I, and my parents, brother, and our friend Gail in the background. Joe and Summer’s names were listed underneath. She thought that was so exciting. Camryn was a bit disappointed that she was farther back in the picture. She had been whining about something so I’m guessing the photographer wasn’t able to capture any of her looking happy.

We’re really looking forward to going back soon!

I’ve been feeling really weird this week… super tired, with on and off nausea. I try to get through the day with as normal of a routine as possible, but it’s really hard just to shower regularly.  I cannot wait to be out of this stage. I’m 9 weeks as of today, so hopefully 3 more and I’m out of the first trimester and on my way to feeling normal again.
