…we went here.
That’s a bowling alley floor, if you can’t tell.
I took all the pictures in this post with my Canon PowerShot point and shoot… I figured it would be better to bring it and know I’d use it because it’s small and simple, than to lug the Nikon out and end up not getting it out because I wouldn’t feel like messing with it. I regret that a bit because I’ve grown accustomed to properly exposed and clear photos and these are just not even close, but the important thing was that I was having fun and not worrying about shooting pictures the whole time.
Summer and Camryn had never been bowling before so we decided to meet Erika and Patti and their kids at the bowling alley to have some fun.
They were so excited. They had heard all about bowling before and couldn’t wait to try. I think they’re favorite part was getting to wear the shoes!
Joe used to bowl a lot as a teenager so he likes to show off.
The girls really impressed me… after a few times with help from us, they started getting their balls and bowling by themselves.
Quite a few times Summer rolled the ball right down the middle and knocked down the pins without it even touching the bumpers. Camryn managed to get a strike!
Here’s me, trying not to do too badly. I did better than usual, but that’s not saying too much.
Summer and Camryn loved hanging out with Brooke.
Joe was giving Erika some tips.
Gracie was smiling at Summer, it was the cutest thing!
We had a really great time… this is definitely something we look forward to doing for fun as a family for years to come.
