From Miracles to Motherhood and Moving

I have something to share... the friend that I said was pregnant a few weeks ago has started her own blog! So, you all get to read about her pregnancy journey yourselves instead of bits and pieces from me. Go check it out: From Miracles to Motherhood.

Today was mostly spent lounging around. I was supposed to baby-sit Xavier this morning but she never brought him. No phone call either. It's not the first time that's happened. Ya know, I could be baby-sitting someone else's child full-time, and getting paid $150/week or more. Instead, I try to help a family member out by baby-sitting their kid for free while they get on their feet and... I'm just really frustrated. I have to stop this rant here, otherwise the whole mommy-bloggish theme I have going on here might go out the window.

Anyway. Here's a few pictures from today.

I was being lazy, and the girls took advantage of that and climbed all over me this morning.

When I finished my coffee (mixed with hot chocolate), I set the thermos down on the floor and Camryn got a hold of it.

I sure am going to miss that big sink when we move.

Speaking of moving, we need to move soon because my family needs to sell my Grandmother's house, which we are currently renting. I want to go ahead and get it over with. We're currently trying to decide whether we want to 1. buy a house now that is not quite what we want, or 2. wait on buying a house for a year or two once Joe gets a few more raises and I'm bringing some money in, and then get something nicer that we really like.

If we don't buy a house now, we'll either try to rent a house in this area or rent a townhouse in a complex that is close to here. I am totally torn on what to do.

That's all for tonight. I hope you all had a great weekend!

What a great picture of you and your girls. That's definitely frame-worthy!

I've been trying to put your button on my page for the last couple days and I keep getting errors everytime I do. Has Blogger been a pain in your ass too lately? Mine seems quite contrary.

Anyway...moving decisions are never easy. But I can say this...it's the ideal time to buy houses. Prices are dropping like crazy. So if you can get approved for a mortgage loan, I'd totally do it now. You can get twice the house for the same amount of money.

Just my two cents. :)

Off to check out your friend's blog!

XOXO

Hey girlie awesome and cute pics as always. The girls are so beautiful and you are too! I will be sure to check out your new friends blog soon here. I always love finding new blogs to read :) I really hope you all decide and soon about where you all plan to move to. Its really tough to decided whether to buy a home, rent or other options. I know for us buyign a home is just nto an option for so many reasons mainly financial :( Hopefully someday though. We just need more time. I am sure you all will figure it out too ;) Take care hun. Hope you had a good night! Leslie

Very cute pics of you and the girls!!! We had a lazy day yesterday too!!! =] I love the pic of Camryn with the cocoa/coffee!!! Way too cute!!!!

I agree with Bridgetts comment on buying! But if you dont find "the" house, just wait till after your next rental! =] Good luck.. Hubs and I are starting our hunt too... probably rent something for now... boo. we own the house we are in but we are moving 45 minutes closer to his work!

I know how you feel about babysitting for a family member and not getting a phone call. Just hang in there. You are doing a good thing. BTW the pictures are cute of you and the girls. Thanks for the comment on my blog.

It may be prime time to buy houses.. but getting a loan is harder than ever.. people just dont want to give credit right now. If you have a good down payment and you can find something you love within your budget.. otherwise my advice would be to stick to renting.. less of a hassle anyway...

those pictures are too cute! girl, you look great in the mornings. I need whatever coffee you drink!

Moving sucks..and it's such a hard decision. I'll tell you what I know from what we went through and that's save as much as you possibly can before buying. Once you spend all of your money on the house itself there isn't much left over for repairs or fixing appliances.

Weigh it out and draw up a budget for buying that way you can see where you stand and what you can buy. My brother builds homes so we see a lot of the business side of it. The housing market is going to stay down for at least a year or two, so you have time to shop around with these low prices. Matter of fact, they may even drop more in the next year.

We decided after the fact that it's better for us to wait a few years and be able to afford the big house that we want instead of settling for what we could afford then.

And doll, the best advice I can give you is that if you can't get a fixed rate mortgage now, wait until next year...those adjustable rates will kill you in 5 years.

hey step,

sorry about what nikki did not to be mean but she never paid me on her little stunt. but take a deep breath.. well look at this if i get prego you can watch my baby for 150 cause that all maybe we could pay lol but on the house. try to stay in if you can. but if not. you guys can easily find a great home now to own. but your kids are still adorable as usaully. well have a good day
