Has it really been a month since I’ve updated? Sorry about that. Here is what’s been keeping me busy for the last month:
-Jace is 18 weeks (4 and a half months) old. He’s getting so big. At his last Dr. appt, he was 14.5 lbs. He’s doing really well. Still exclusively breastfeeding, sleeping great at night (although his napping during the day could use some work), laughing a bit, and is reaching for/holding toys.
Camryn’s Mother’s Day Tea at preschool
-Camryn graduated from 4-year-old preschool on May 16th. She had a school picnic at the park, and Joe, Jace, my mom, and I went. She had a really good year, I think she’s going to really do well in kindergarten.
-Summer finished Kindergarten on May 30th. She also had a really good year. She was friends with everyone in her class and did really well with reading, writing, math, etc. She’s loving school and is excited about first grade.
-We got a letter saying Camryn didn’t get into the school Summer is in. It is a lottery system since they only accept 48 kids per year, and her name wasn’t picked. I spoke with the counselor who said that if anything opens up she will do what she can. I am really hoping for a phone call from her over the Summer. I so want them both in this school. It’s a great place and I really can’t stand the idea of Camryn missing out on the things Summer has gotten to experience this past year.
-My SIL and nephew needed a place to live temporarily, so we offered for them to stay with us. We cleaned up our basement, turned the playroom into a bedroom, and they (and their dog) moved in a few days ago. It’s a little chaotic at times, but it’s going well and hopefully will give her a chance to get things straightened out.
-I became a co-director of Peaceful Parenting Louisville, a part of the Peaceful Parenting Network. Check out our Facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/ppnlouisville.
-I got an iPhone. I don’t know what I did without it.
I’m probably forgetting some things, but this is a start!

You sound about as busy as me right now. Our youngest daughter graduates from preschool in two weeks. She had her testing for Kindergarten on Monday and is excited to be going to big girl school next year. Great pictures!
A month can go by fast when life is so busy!!
