Tuesday, the girls had a make-up soccer game. They’ve missed at least 4 games this season due to heavy rain. It’s been a very wet Spring around here.
Summer is finally starting to grasp the whole “protect your goal” job that the coach has given her. There’s a name for this position, but I’m not sure what it is.
Love the goalie’s face here. You can see Camryn standing back there watching the other team score a goal.
Camryn has gotten a little more into playing as well, but still hangs out watching the action most of the time.
Yes… the other team’s coach is using a megaphone. Yes, it is as annoying as it sounds.
Summer didn’t get to the ball quick enough… Camryn was saying, “Sissy, why didn’t you kick the ball?!”
When I played soccer as a kid, we would spit on our hands before we had to do the “Good Game” line. Evil, huh?
Their favorite part of the game? Getting their snacks!
Right after the game ended, we went over to my aunt’s house for my cousin Richard’s 17th birthday.
Waiting patiently for their cake and ice cream.
Wine.
Wednesday evening, Joe went golfing with some co-workers and I took the girls to a park to take some pictures of them.
You wouldn’t know it from these pictures, but they were NOT in the mood for a photo session.
They didn’t want to hold their poses, didn’t want to smile, kept fighting… it’s exactly why I prefer candid photography better!
I did get a few cute ones, though.
My favorite of the day? This one.

Totally evil spitting on your hands. L O L
Very cute pictures. I love the one of them on the bridge and the one of them reading on the grass.
The last one is my fave! Canvas material!
The girls look so cute playing soccer, and I love the pictures you took at the park!
You suck at failing. Seriously, I was expecting to see a photo mess, but these are splendid, just like all of your photos are! That one of big sissy lying on the brick sidwalk is AWESOME. Great shots.
