Party Animals

Yesterday was game day again for the Kentucky Wildcats, which in my world means “party!”.

We had a pretty good group of people over at my parents’ house again.

Olivia is going through stranger anxiety a bit so she wanted her mama by her side at all times.

Doesn’t she just melt your heart?!

My girls love these parties for one main reason: food!

You can kind of see Summer’s hair cut I gave her in that picture. I think it turned out great, especially for my first hair cut. I love how much money we will save if I can continue cutting their hair myself! If you think you can’t do it, you’re wrong. Watch a few instructional videos on YouTube and then give it a try. Start small and see how it goes. I think you will surprise yourself!

The Cats played really well. We maintained a lead most of the game and while it was close, UNC never had a chance!

This child is forever injuring her head. Her cut from a few weeks ago near her eye is healing well, although we need to get some scar healing cream on it, and check out these bruises!

How many men does it take to chop a block of wood?

It was also my cousin Sarah’s 15th birthday, so after the game we celebrated with cake and ice cream.

Camryn helped her blow her candles out.

I don’t know what’s in this glass, but it’s nice and blue for the Wildcats!

Oh, how I love candid photos. It’s my preferred style of photography. It doesn’t just record a moment, it helps tell a story.

I know of quite a few of you that are making the jump from auto to manual mode on your dSLR’s, so I’m going to include my metadata for a few of these.

Audrey got some tattoos the other day… her favorite song is Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds”, so she got three small birds, one behind her ear, one on her upper arm, and another on her left foot. I think they’re adorable!

The girls loved playing with their cousins (and their cousin Olivia’s friend).

I love pigtail braids, how adorable and classic is this?

Summer and Camryn are always so sweet to Olivia.

It was a really fun, really long day. Since the Cats won, we’ll be doing it again next Saturday!

Congrats on the win for the Wildcats! Looks like you have quite the close family, and the kids are cute by the way. We have a really close family and some of the best times are the parties we have together.
