Breaking News and Some Pictures

Breaking News: “Doll”, Summer’s first doll that she’s had since before she was born, was recovered Saturday night in an area known as “The Black Hole Under the Couch”. Doll had been missing for more than three months. Numerous searches had taken place in the area in and around the Mullins Household since the fateful day she disappeared, with no sign of her anywhere. Thanks to an outstanding citizen named Camryn, Doll won’t have to go one more day in the dark, and was returned safe and sound to her person. Camryn was spelunking in the Black Hole and saw something pink and fuzzy. She reached out to grab it, and there Doll was!

Summer couldn’t be happier. She was quoted as saying, “I am so happy to have Doll back! I missed her so much!”

Since my kids are really sick of me taking their pictures, I decided to have a photo shoot with my Christmas ornaments today instead.

I couldn’t believe how well-behaved they were. They did everything I asked them to and were open to all of my ideas. And look at those smiles!

Of course I had to sneak a few of my human subjects as well…

Harley was jealous and asked me to take her picture, too. Ever since my photo of her won Live Every Moment’s photo challenge last week, she’s been acting very theatrical. This is her “slight glance over the shoulder looking reminiscent” pose…

And that was my day. How was yours?

Thank God that Doll has been found!! I'm sure Summer is happy. :)

Congrats on having the winning photo! I'm not surprised to hear it though. You are an awesome photographer.

I see you are reading Eragon. I've tried to read that book a few times. I just can't get into it. Does it get better after the first chapter? Maybe I need to give it another chance since I'm out of anything to read.

I was out tromping in snow just like yours, but your scenery glitters more than mine did! (I was in the cow lot!)

Beautiful pictures. My girls love to use our couch as Secret Storage bins! UGH!

I love how you told the doll story! How sweet that she is found and resting happily in summer's arms!

Loving the processing on the 2nd orament photo. What software do you use? I just received PS but haven't loaded it on my computer yet. I'm a bit scared of feeling overwhelmed. LOL.
