Movie Milestone

This past Saturday, Joe and I decided to do something fun with the girls. Neither of them has ever been to a movie theater so we thought it was about time, especially with this out:Toy-Story-3We decided not to tell them where we were going. We got them dressed (in jeans, because the theater is ALWAYS freezing), and told them we were going somewhere.IMG_9632editThey were excited as we drove to our destination. We may or may not have stopped and stocked my purse with bottles of water and M&M’s. Have you seen the prices of movie theater snacks lately?!

When we pulled in the parking lot, we told them where we were. They both got huuuuuge smiles and couldn’t wait to get inside. My brother met us in there and we all grabbed some popcorn and got our seats.IMG_9642editThey were SO well-behaved. Not that I’m surprised, they usually are, at least in public :) They sat in their seats like little ladies, eating their popcorn  and candy and watched the whole movie without making a peep. We all loved the movie. Definitely worth seeing in 3D. It made me cry!IMG_9643editWe had such a great first movie experience with them. I can’t wait to do more and more things like this!

We took our littles to see Toy Story 3 also; it was a fantastic experience because hubby and I really love all the Toy Stories and it was so fun to share that with our kiddos.

How much fun!! I know they loved it! They are growing up on you and quickly. I can't wait to take Zoe to her first movie in a couple of years.

So fun that you surprised them with the movie treat! :) And yes the prices for snacks are outrageous at theaters anymore!! We always sneak in our own snacks...make sure to bring a big purse! LOL I cried too, it was sad. :(

I loved that movie! Yup, I had tears too! How fun for them :) Our AMC used to let us openly bring food, it was great, but no more. So we just take smaller snacks that we could sneak in :)
