As my Granddaddy would say, today was "as hot as a gingermill" again.
It seemed like a good mall day to me, so my mom and I took the girls to have a little air-conditioned fun.
While we were looking around Old Navy, the girls ran over to this mannequin and one of them said, “It’s our Mommy!” They then gave her hugs and informed us that she could see them with the eyes in her neck. Mmmhmm.
Then they tried on these hats, which I thought were SO adorable. Then, of course, we had to get cookies. No mall trip would be complete without them, at least according to my kids.My poor husband spent the day at home, sick. He’s been fighting a bad cold (Yea, a cold in the summer. Horrible, right?) all week and today when he woke up he could barely move. He would have been useless doing outdoor construction plumbing all day. He started to feel a bit better this evening, so hopefully he will be well enough to work tomorrow and to have fun this weekend. We have two concerts for my cousin’s band to go to tomorrow and Saturday, and then Sunday is Joe’s 25th birthday!

I haven't been to the mall in forever!!! Hard to tote all the kids there and them actually behave :)
Cookies are the best part though - love the cookie company there!
These pics are SOOO awesome...I love the up close of them :)
Great shots! Looks like she was LOVING the cookie ;) And those hats are great!
Where'd you get the cookies? We always get ours at the Great American Cookie Co.
Uh oh, hope he feels better soon. Cute pictures of the girls. That cookie makes me want one!!
I LOVE Camryn's pose in the very first pic with the mannequin. :)
