A few days ago, we took Summer and Camryn fishing for the very first time.
They were so excited. Armed with their very own fishing poles (Tinkerbell and Princess themed, of course) they listened as their Daddy told them how to use the fishing pole and keep a close eye on that bobber.
Standing still doesn't come naturally to a 2 and 3 year old, but they exercised a lot of patience and enjoyed casting and reeling and standing and waiting.

Joe caught the only fish of the day.
Actually, I caught something too...
Gotta love that mud.

Ds, age 3, is getting a new fishing pole from the Easter Bunny! So I can't wait to take him fishing. I'm only about an hour and half drive from Louisville! We're on the Indiana Side!
Looks like they had fun even though they didn't catch anything.
That one of the 2 of them with their backs to the camera? Amazing. Framer for sure!
Aw, looks like a great time!
Love the pictures!! Looks like they had fun!
You are going to have to teach me how you make such great pictures...
Your girls are adorable! What a wonderful memory made with their Daddy - and you captured the moments beautifully. I especially like the shot of them walking down the road following along. Aren't little girls the best? :)
Love the photos!! I was about their age when my Dad took me fishing for the first time. I had a Snoopy fishing pole, as a matter of fact, I still have it!! Maybe I can pass it down to Zoe...I'm sure it won't even cast now!!
Summer definitely did not have patience for fishing last year. I hope it grows on her though because I love it!
It's great they can do things like that with their daddy! My mom got Kyndra a set of small golf clubs for her bday and I told Anth he can take her golfing! He wasn't too fond of the idea but he's gonna do it at least once this summer!
Oh how cute. found your blog at Misse's blog. I'm having trouble with the speed at which your blog scrolls. It's kind of slow for me...probably my computer....but Missie's wasn't as slow for some reason. The girls are lucky I never got to go fishing when I was young but I did go to Koi ponds with my parents on Sundays after Church! :) Maria
