A Very Happy Birthday

Summer and Camryn's polka dot themed birthday party went really well this past Saturday. Lots of family and friends came to our house to celebrate.

I want to thank Audrey for making their tutus and hair bows. Aren't they adorable?! Go visit Lil' Booger Bows to order your own.

I'm not at all proud of this cake. I had to change the way I was making and decorating it at the last minute. Still tasted good, though!

A game of hacky sack in the back yard.

Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday

Audrey is about to pop. She is so uncomfortable at this point but still came to the party, I'm so glad she was there!

Opening presents

One of their favorite presents, a slide from my friend Nicole.

Tomorrow is Summer's official 3rd birthday. We're planning on either celebrating at home with a small cake or going to Chuck E. Cheese to play some games. The girls have never been there, so it should be fun to see how they react to it.

If you don't follow me on Facebook and are wondering why it took me a few days to post these pictures...

I've been too preoccupied scratching my Chigger bites. This is my back, I thought I'd spare you pictures of the bites all over my legs, stomach, armpits, and pelvic area. I got them on Sunday from walking around in a field behind Joe's dad's new house. I have never been so irritated and itchy in my life. I was the only one that got bit, amazingly. Thank goodness they are finally easing up a bit and getting smaller.

I hope everyone is having a great week!!

Aww, she did a great job on their tu tus! What great pictures and the girls are adorable. Looks like they had a great birthday party. Were the chiggers before or after the party? Hope you are getting better. Stay out of the field from now on.LOL

Wow! The party photos looked great! Your girls are adorable!!

Chiggers are nasty little buggers.. I really hope you feel better soon. Take a nice long Aveeno bath and lather in Calamine lotion.

I was going to comment on how adorable the girls look, then I see those horrible chigger bites.
Well, the girls are still adorable, the bites...not so much. Hope they go away soon.

I've been waiting on these pics! I love how the party turned out. It looks great. I am still in awe over that b-day banner!

I have never seen chigger bites. OMG. It looks really bad. I can only imagine how miserable you must be with the itching. I hope you get over them soon!

Happy bday to Summer tomorrow!

Steph,

I have spent the last hour and a half reading your blog. It is amazing how much the girls have grown up and how wonderful of a mother you are.
I really regret missing the last few years with them and hopefully when I move back I will get to see a lot more of you guys!
Missing you all from Florida!

How fun! I love their tutus and hair bows! And their 'age' shirts. You're very creative. :)

And Steph...AGGGHHHH! I've never seen chiggers that bad before. You poor girl. :(

What finally worked to get rid of them?

XOXO

These are great pictures!!! I love the one of all 4 of you and the cake :)

hope the chiggers are gone now :( I never realized that they broke out that bad. My mother in law just had something similar and they had to treat her like she had scabies. it wasn't actually scabies, but that medicine was the only thing that would get rid of the rash and itching. If it doesn't do away soon, go to the doctor!
