Chinese? Really? After the video cut off, she proceeded to repeat the Chinese a few more times. Only thing I can figure is she picked it up from Kai-Lan. She loves that show.
Yesterday I was trying to help Camryn learn to count. I've heard her count a bit with Summer and repeat numbers and even fill in a number if you pause when you count. Here was our conversation:
Me: Camryn, let's count to 10! 1...
Camryn: Uno!
Me: That's Spanish. Let's count in English. 1...
Camryn: No. Uno... Dos...
Me: 1. 2. 3...
Camryn: No! Like Dora!
Me: Ok. Uno...
Camryn: Dos. Tres. Cuatro. Cinco. Seis. Siete. Ocho. Nueve. Diez!
I don't know if this is a good thing, or if it means they watch too much Dora and Kai-Lan!

As I'm typing this we are watching Dora.
That is so cute and funny that they want to count in different languages. It just goes to show you that just because its a cartoon doesn't mean it doesn't teach them something!
Okay that is just tooooooo cute!
adorable!! love it.
Just means she is a smart little girl!
I think it's good for children to learn different languages. Makes them smarter IMO!

So amazing and adorable!
Oh my gosh girl, Those cute girls of your melt my heart. Their adorable ;) I love that they are learning different languages thats awesome. Im trying to teach Danielle some spanish. I havent taught her much lately. But i plan to more over the summer. I think is a really great thing if all kids can try to learn a diff language :) I really enjoyed the movie hun. Take care
They are so cute. I'm impressed with their knowledge.
Adorable :) I think it is great when children are Bilingual.
I think it's a good thing! LOL Mine watches Dora sometimes, but can't count in Spanish. They're super cute! I've been wanting to tape Keely reading to Brynleigh, but I can't do it myself since Bryn can't sit up yet by herself. Maybe since B is home, I can get him to tape it for me. :)
hahaha they get cuter and cuter!
LMAO!
Is it terrible I hate Kai Lan? I hate the way it sounds like she's calling her grandfather yea-yea. LOL
Drives me bonkers.
And hey! I think it's great they're counting in Spanish. I always planned on teaching my kids to become bilingual...but then Parker didn't talk at all. So my plans became seriously disrupted. :(
XOXO
They are too cute!!!
I can't believe how big Summer is sometimes, I remember when all we saw of her was the ultrasound pic. She's really bright Steph!
They pick up other languages so easily at this age. It's really amazing.
...and so cute to see Summer read to her little sister :)
(((we searched for websites that had sound clips in other languages, that's where we got Eli learning French and have started a little German))
How adorable!
Hugs
Terri
