Jumblation

We tentatively chose our paint colors.

Today I got a call from our agent.

They needed this documentation right away because the bank who owns the house is going under. The house had to go into escrow today or we wouldn't be able to close on it.

I had to rush, along with my mom and kids, to the bank to meet with my lender.

I got a call from my agent as we pulled into the parking lot saying they accepted what we already had and it went into escrow.

We went in anyway and I signed a TON of paperwork. I had to bring it home so Joe could sign it, he's going to take it back up to our lender tomorrow.

The next step is to get our home inspection done asap, so the lending bank can send their appraiser over. After that's done we have more waiting to do and then we close, hopefully. This situation with the bank going under has us nervous. But it HAS to work out, because we already chose paint colors. And kitchen appliances.

Sorry my posting is weird tonight, I'm tired and my brain is absolutely spilling over with all this information.

After all the rushing around and paperwork, I came home and cooked dinner. We had this mexican chicken stuff and sauteed brussel sprouts with bacon. It was quite good.

After dinner, I made ....

Cinnamon rolls :-) Summer said, "this is my FAVORITE FOOD!". They are fast asleep now, Joe is asleep next to me, and I am trying to catch up on blogs but I think I might finish tomorrow when I'm more cognitive. I can't believe tomorrow is Friday already!

Buying a house is hard! I honestly would be content never doing it ever again! Just living here forever, but then again I want another kid someday and we just don't have the room here. LOL. So one day we'll do the whole home buying process all over again. Whew I'm tired just thinking about it! ;) Can't wait to see where the paint colors go!
