A Trip to the Zoo

Yesterday we woke to gorgeous weather. We decided that the zoo would be a perfect place to go. While I was getting ready, we got a phone call from the vet saying that since they are closed on Sundays and no one would be there, we should go ahead and take Nova home. We headed there first. They gave us antibiotic pills to give her once a day, and a can of cat food to give her in a syringe. She still won't eat on her own. I have to take her back tomorrow morning at 11. The vet wants to see how she's doing, and she will decide if she needs to stay there longer or if she can stay at home.

After we took Nova home, we stopped for a quick lunch at McDonald's and then went to Target. We have a great double stroller, but it's a pain to get the girls in and out of at the zoo. Plus, we plan on taking Summer and Camryn to Thunder Over Louisville with us this year, and we really need a wagon for that. So, we got a wagon and put it together right there in the parking lot.

It was a great purchase, they love it!

The only picture that was taken of me, and I have my eyes closed. Figures.

Yes, we were that close to the jaguar. So pretty.

Funny face :-)
That concludes the last relaxing Saturday we will have for awhile. Next Saturday will probably consist of ripping carpet up, scratching at wallpaper, knocking down walls, and painting. I'm actually looking forward to all of that though, because the house we will be working on is OURS! Watching HGTV (which is what I'll be doing all day today) is so much more enjoyable when you know you'll have your own house to use the ideas on.

Time for lunch. I hope you are all having a great weekend!
