Appliances, Gas, and Eggs

We picked out and bought our kitchen appliances yesterday! We ended up going with all black. We thought at first we would get stainless, but after thinking about fingerprints, and noticing how all of our stainless small appliances have started to look not-so-new after only a couple years, we re-thought that. We considered a clean-steel set, but were talked out of that by the guy at HHGregg. So, black it is.

Here's the refrigerator and the stove we picked out.

They are going to be delivered on Saturday. Now, the only things left are the cabinets and counter tops. Hopefully we can get those soon. Looks like there is a good chance we may move in a couple weeks!

Recently Camryn has started announcing when she passes gas. Yesterday at the store, she said, "Mommy, I farted!" really loudly. And then again, at the register. And again. And again. It was pretty funny, but I guess not very ladylike so I should probably discourage that, right?

I got up a little bit before the girls this morning, and decided to use the extra time that they weren't under my feet whining for breakfast to make scrambled eggs and toast for them. I added some cheese to the eggs, too. I set their plates out, and then brought them in to eat. Summer said, "Cheesy eggs?! This makes me very happy!" That's what I'm here for, kid. Just keep loving these cheesy eggs that much, and maybe we can skip those tumultuous teenage years :-)
