Easter

Happy Belated Easter! We had a great one. It started off around 8:30am. We got up and Summer and Camryn found their Easter baskets in the living room.

We headed to church around 10:00. I really like the minister there, it was a great service.



My aunt Ann took this picture of us after church. We have a few more family shots, but they're on my mom's camera.

After church, we went to my parents' house for a nice lunch. My mom made ham, scalloped potatoes, rolls, and vegetables. It was really good. She also made a bunny cake for dessert. I'll have to get a picture of it from her, it was really cute.


My cousin Andrea, who is EXTREMELY talented in the musical arena, playing piano with the girls. Here is a link of Andrea playing guitar and singing the Jason Mraz song, "I'm Yours".

My dad complained that he is always the one taking pictures and there is only a handful of pictures of him in existence. So, here Dad.

Summer was having a bad hair day. I probably should have just put it up!

And there goes the Easter grass.

After we left my parents', we went to Joe's dad and Grandma's house for dinner. Grandma made ham, green beans, potato salad, and deviled eggs. It was great. I didn't get any pictures over there because my camera died, and of course I forgot extra batteries.

We had a hectic but fun Easter. I think the girls had a lot of fun. I hope your Easter was great, too!

Hunting for Eggs

We had a really fun day today. After lunch, I took the girls to my aunt Susan's house for their first Easter egg hunt. They loved it!

Good Deals on a Lovely Day

Today is a beautiful Spring day. The sun is shining, it's fairly warm, and I can finally hear birds chirping.

A few days ago I went to TJ Maxx for the first time in years and spent about 2 hours there. Oh my gosh I am in love with that place!!!

I found the girls Easter dresses. $9.99 each!

My wallet has been torn apart for awhile and I found a great replacement.

After the heathens get up from their nap and I wash my disgustingly dirty hair, I'm going to head over to the new house to do some painting. Joe went over there yesterday and did some mudding. The half bath is ready to be re-painted (and hopefully won't fall apart again), as is the kitchen. I'm looking forward to getting this done, I feel like I have been painting non-stop for weeks.

Happy April Fool's Day! No jokes from me, this year :-) Off to take a shower...
