My dad’s birthday was this past Saturday. The girls had two soccer games that day so we celebrated the following Sunday. The four of us along with my parents, uncle, and brother went out to our land in the country for most of the day. It was a little chilly and rainy but we made the most of it!
Wes and Joe went creek fishing while the hot dogs cooked. It’s been proven that if you wear ridiculous looking hats, you catch more fish.
I posted way too many pictures but I’m too tired to decide which ones I don’t want to include.
The area we are at in these pictures actually belongs to our “neighbor” out there. Due to the rain, he was kind enough to let us use his property that has a shelter.
Despite the temperature hovering around 58 degrees, the girls were really into walking in the creek.
I have a really… special… family. Love them!
Our main goal when walking through the creek with nets is to catch something neat.
Wes caught a baby bass!
I was cold just looking at them, but they had a blast. I for-see lots of creek walking and time spent outdoors this Summer!

Looks like so much fun! It's green and beautiful :)
You take such beautiful pictures! I wish you lived in Arizona so I could take a lesson! I have a Nikon and still have yet to get the hang of it!
Yeah! I've missed you! Great pics, Stephanie! This made me snicker "It’s been proven that if you wear ridiculous looking hats, you catch more fish." And this one with your mom and the girls made me say, "Awww!" Loved the post!
