Quiet

Summer and Camryn are still at my parents’ house. When I called this morning, they had just gotten done eating their pancakes and sausage, and were taking a walk. They are so lucky to have such amazing grandparents that love them as much as we do.

DSC_1426edit-2more sunshine today!

Joe and I decided to take advantage of being childless and go out on the town last night. We really went crazy… ate dinner at Tumbleweed and then went to Lowe’s and Wal-Mart. I know, I know… we party hard around here.

I stayed up way too late last night getting some work done. This morning I got to sleep until 10:30 when Joe brought me waffles in bed. We woke up to more sunshine today… it’s so beautiful outside, especially after not seeing the sun for so long! As of right now… there are 50 days, 5 hours, 34 minutes, and 22 seconds until Spring.

I felt like I needed a light and clean layout, so I made some changes. I love it now! I also changed my photography blog to look like this one. I’m going to be doing an engagement photo shoot in the near future along with some others and that’s where I’ll be posting those pictures. So, if you want to see those, photos that I don’t post here, photo challenges I enter, or photography tutorials, you can follow that blog also. Just click “Photography” on my menu and find the Follower gadget at the bottom.

Today there is a UK basketball game at 4:00pm, so Joe and I are going to head over to my parents’ house in a few hours to watch it and hang out with family and friends.

I’m bringing a pasta salad. Hopefully it turns out how I’m envisioning, because I haven’t made a cold pasta salad in awhile!

I hope you’re all having a great weekend!

I am loving the new layout!

Oh and our "date" nights involve wal mart trips too!

1) I am so jealous of your evening on the town! That's exactly how I would spend mine - dinner and some child free shopping. :)
2) I am in LOVE with cold pasta salad - was it a good recipe?
3) I needed a spring countdown - I'm over being cooped up inside with two kids! IT's on!

I tried to click your photography link and it said blog not found. I am going to use your tutorial to start shooting in manual - but I wanted to ask how you store your hi-res images? I used to upload all my photos to picasa, but someone said picasa automatically lowers the resolution. I am burning through my mem cards - already have two 8gigs full. :(
