Yesterday morning, my mom, Summer, Camryn, and I headed out to the country. My mom's best friend since childhood, Gail, and her husband Bill, inherited Bill’s childhood home, a huge old house on a lake, from Bill’s mom when she passed away.
Bill’s mom had a love of things fancy and ornate. The house is full of statues, antiques, crown molding… it’s kind of indescribable actually. Maybe some day I’ll ask them if I can take a bunch of pictures to share with you all.
One thing the girls loved was this old dollhouse. It had the neatest, fanciest dollhouse furniture you can imagine. They have a pontune boat on the lake that we took for a spin. Gail let Camryn and Summer take turns driving. They had so much fun! We parked the boat on the shore and got out to take a dip in the water. After our boat ride, we came back to eat lunch and play some more. The girls found some treasures under the magic bridge! We are so lucky to have all of these neat places we can go to get away for awhile!

I want a Pontoon boat. I've been trying to talk Kevin into buying one for years. We used to have a speed boat.
Have a good weekend.
