...I will be on my way to Florida!We are leaving at 5am. Taking two cars. My parents and brother in their van. Joe, Summer, Camryn, and I in their Civic.
**Burglars, please note (Since I have announced to the world we won't be home this week): We have several neighbors watching our house at all times, and my uncle will be checking on our cat and reptiles regularly. So stay away. Thanks.**
We are taking a portable DVD player, and I am counting on Matilda, Monsters Inc., Tinkerbell, and The Jungle Book to keep the girls occupied so our drive goes well.
We cannot wait. This vacation is much needed for us all!
Summer and Camryn have never seen the beach, and Joe hasn't been since he was a toddler from what he recalls. It will be a new experience for them and I predict lots of amazement at the beauty and power of the sea.
I hope you all like pictures. It's going to be picture overload time when we get home. I am hoping to post a picture or two every day while we are there, also. You all can pretend you're soaking up the sun and playing in the sand with us :)
This evening we took Harley to my friend Audrey's house to stay for the week. I know she will take great care of her, but I still worry. We haven't left her before and I hate the thought of her thinking we abandoned her. It will certainly be a happy reunion next week.
