Thriving in the Dark
I can remember being in school and hating the time change in the fall. It really put a damper on my already limited playtime.
Now, however, as a mom to two non-school aged kids, I thrive.
Something about that earlier sunset. I make dinner on time, I get the kids to bed on time, I get more done in the evenings, I go to sleep earlier. It's great!
This coming from someone who loves warm weather and sunshine. Oh, how I already miss Summer...
Hopefully I can continue to concentrate on the good that comes with the dark evenings.
Better schedule, more efficient, more time to myself...
I can totally do winter this year.

I can SOOOO relate to the whole winter mindset, lol
I miss the summer too and I do seem to settle in earlier when it gets darker faster.
I agree about going to bed earlier. I can relate to that in the winter.
Kelsey went to be last night at 8:40...she said she should go to bed since it was gettting close to 10..I didn't tell her any different!

I so hate the time change.....I'm glad someone enjoys it!
I love this time of year too!!!!!!! Love when it gets dark earlier!
What a positive attitude! Actually I've been going to bed earlier myself since the time change...maybe it's related??
It still comes as a shock to me how early it gets dark. I'll have to try to borrow your attitude and look at the positive.
I cannot get myself together since the time changed. I'm the exact opposite. It'll be 5:30 in the evening and will feel like 8:30. LOL
