When your toddler learns to unscrew lids...

...you'd better be prepared. This is by far the messiest milestone I've dealt with. Last week, Summer unscrewed a ton of fingernail polish and painted the bathroom with it.

This morning, they girls were being extra quiet. I found them sitting behind the couch...

...eating the peanut butter. Which also means that Summer knows how to remove the doorknob safety covers that are on the pantry door.

Both of these thing happened in a matter of minutes, while I was making the bed and unloading the dishwasher. I think I might start tying a rope around their waists and attaching the other end to me.

i remember when my son learned this...his thing was seasoning the carpet LOL..he'd see us use that carpet deodorizer that you sprinkle down then vacuum up...
he decided to do it his way, with spices from the spice rack. LOL

I know it was a mess to clean up but they are too cute! Kaylyn kept getting into our "childproof" cabinets that we ended up buying this magnetized type thing. Good luck with that:)!

Eeesh! What a collasal mess! The worst damage my kids have done is making vaseline pyramids in the carpet and dumping out a large container of formula to make baby bottles (that was a very expensive lesson in keeping formula out of reach!)
Love your blog! You have a cute family - you're very blessed for being so young!

Another thing to add to my list of future worries! They are girls after my own heart--eating peanut butter right out of the jar like that!

I like that she chose a variety of colors ;D LOL so cute, better put my nail polish away or I'll be blogging about something similar ;D

As a mom of older teenagers, seeing those pictures brought back some really funny memories.

I know it's a mess, but you will look back at these times when the kids are 18 and think it's all funny!

This cracks me up! LOL

When Autumn was much smaller, she somehow got into our pantry and got a box of corn chex out. She was obviously hungry because she poured them all out on the floor and was chowing down. :D

Gotta love kids.

XOXO

I love it. They can get into so much trouble so quickly. It's just to keep you on your toes, so you don't get complacent with how great a mommy you are.

Blessings,
Kimberly

Oh wow! It's amazing how quickly they learn to make huge messes! Aiden hasn't figured out how to unscrew lids yet, but he did spray perfume in his eye yesterday...
