How do I look?

My blog received a make-over this weekend, courtesy of Julie's Blog Designs. I love it!! Julie did an excellent job. She was so easy to work with, and listened to any questions or suggestions I had. I am so happy with the finished product. If anyone is interested in giving their blog a face-lift, head over to Julie's blog and see what she can do for you!

This weekend has been a bit rough. Friday evening, we went to my brother's basketball game. Right after we got there my mom noticed that Camryn felt a bit warm. I felt her and I agreed, she was burning up. She's had a fever ever since then. We've been giving her Tylenol and Ibuprofen, and that takes the fever down, but I think three days of fever warrants a trip to the doctor. I guess I'll be calling in the morning to see if they can get her in. Hopefully it's just a little bug and not strep.

Resting with my poor little sick girl
Also tomorrow, I have to have our cats, Jack and Nova, at the vet around 9am. They are finally getting declawed. I have never liked the idea of declawing, but after what happened to Summer, we just can't take the chance. They have been staying in our basement during the day to prevent another accident from happening, so we're looking forward to being able to keep them upstairs after this and being a big happy family again.

Since Camryn was sick, we've been at home all weekend. Relaxing, but boring, I'd say. The most exciting thing that happened is that Summer ate edamame as a snack, and loved it.

I just thawed them, put them on a baking sheet, drizzled with olive oil, covered with some sea salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese, and baked at 400 for 20 minutes, stirring half-way through. Yum.

I'm going to go take a shower and try to clean up a bit. I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend!

The font is SO EASY to read! Love it...How much did she charge?

I like to post larger images in my entries than most, so I have to use the template by Blogger that allows large entry space. I haven't seen any Blog designers that can make layouts for that Large entry space look.

They are all so beautiful, but the entry space is too small for me, so not sure if I can get a custom made layout. But it would be fabulous if people could make them.

Love the new look. I've thought about getting a personalized layout for a couple of months now, but I like to change around for the holidays too much. I'd be wasting my money.

I can't keep up with all your background changes. Mine is plain as day. LOL. I'll have to try that recipe. I've never eaten that before, but it sounds like something I could eat on my diet.

I think your blog looks fantastic! I'll check out the link you provided.

p.s. Is it sad that I have no idea what edamame is? LOL

Did I even spell it right?

Hi Stephanie. Isn't Julie great? One of the most fun things about her is her never ending blog changes (on her own blog). She's so creative she just can't quit! :) ha!

She did a beautiful job on your blog - your little girls are adorable.

Have a beautiful day - I hope Camryn feels better today - poor little thing.

OHH I love the new layout for your blog!!! So cute!!! Awww, I hope Camryn is feeling better soon!! Is she cutting any molars? Kylie had a fever on and off for 4 days and then all of a sudden, she had 2 molars! Chloe never broke fevers while teething, but Ky does. Either way, its a terrible feeling as a mom when you hold them and they are so hot!

I think your blog looks great!

I think the declaw is a good idea. We have to keep the cats out during the day when the kids are up.

We just discovered edamame a little while back...haven't tried it with cheese but Eli would probably love that.
