I wish the snow would stick so we could go sledding.

Every parent has to have a picture of their kids in the tub with their hair sticking up, right? This was the best I could do, they wouldn't hold still!

Joe got creative with his camera angle.

Today was a snowy, rainy, cold day. The perfect day for me to stay in my pajamas all day. I got some new pajama pants from my parents for Christmas and they are the comfiest pants I have ever worn. I think they're from Old Navy. I slept in them last night, and put them back on after I took a shower this morning.

My cousin Rachel and her boyfriend, Edward, are in town on their college winter break. They have to go back soon so they came by today to visit. We had a nice time chatting and being entertained by Summer and Camryn. They were pretty shy around Edward at first but after a little while they started going crazy. That's usually what happens.

I have some news. Before I post this picture, I have to tell you it is NOT ABOUT ME.

A really good friend of mine found out today that she is pregnant. She came by this evening. Her situation isn't ideal, so she definitely needed to be around people who have been through a similar situation. Joe and I are no strangers to un-planned pregnancy, so we did our best to help put things in perspective and let her know that things can work out great if she makes the right decisions and keeps a positive attitude. I can't reveal her identity yet because there are a few people she hasn't told, but once she gives me the okay, I'll definitely be talking about this situation a lot. I'm excited for her, I think she'll be a great mom.

That's all for now. Goodnight!

The bath pic is a definite must have - insurance according to my hubby just in cases the kids get out of line. I'll have to check out Old Navy for pajama pants - I love days where you can just bum around the house. I'm sorry your friend found out she was pg under less then ideal circumstances but am glad she's got you and Joe for support - I'll keep her in my prayers. Leene

I have tons of bath pictures of the kids...but none with their hair sticking up! LOL

I'll have to get one. :)

I plan on wearing pajama bottoms all day today....IT'S A SNOW DAY! No school for Mr. Parker.

Of course, I had a few things I wanted to do, but it's pure ice outside, so I'll pass for the day.

Congratulations to your pregnant friend. :)

XOXO

Your girls are adorable!

Congratulations to your friend! I'm no stranger to unplanned pregnancies either. I'm (almost) 23 & a married mom to three, but I LOVE my job! I can't think of anything better than spending my days with three little one who love me unconditionally. :)

Definitely gotta have those bathtub pics! I took some of Summer the other day. The rain stopped here today, so I snatched up the opportunity to take Summer for a walk in her stroller even though it was a little chilly. I think she is ready for summer to roll back around. She is ready for winter to be over. She's an outdoors girl!

:) my kids are always shy for about 5 minutes...then all hell breaks loose!

I think it's great that you can be there to support your friend. I know that as hard as it may have been, being young and having a baby in my situation, I couldn't have made the choices that I did if it weren't for the support of a few people. Everyone told me how it would ruin my life...I'm glad I listened to the few people that loved me enough to support me. I hope things work out in the best possible way for her :)
