Summer cracked us up at dinner. I broiled some venison steaks for dinner and Summer's helping was cut up into pieces on her plate. She was down to her last piece when she said, "Uh-oh, alligator!" She held out the meat. It looked like this:
She had this really worried look on her face. "Did you say alligator?" "Yes... I scared!" She thrust the meat towards me as we're trying not to laugh. I took it from her. She looked a bit relieved and held out her finger. "Alligator say, 'Num num num num'. Scare me!"
Hahaha... Summer just came in here and sat down next to me. I showed her the above replicated picture and asked her what it was. She said, "Alligator! I better watch out!" and jumped off the bed. Ya can't pay for this kind of entertainment. (Trust me, I know I'm way more amused at this than anyone else.)

I love it! She's going to be a joy to have around as she grows up, isn't she? We had deer steaks for dinner tonight, but none of them looked like alligators, unfortunately.
I think that story is absolutely cute! Have a happy Wednesday. : )
Very very cute! I wish I had started a journal of the things my boys used to say. They are five and seven now. Although we do get a few funny comments, it's nothing like it used to be. I love your blog background! Very cool!
