Inspiration

Our office/art room was really plain and boring. Trying to not spend any money, I decided to make something. Here's what I came up with:

Three framed quotes, printed out on coordinating scrapbook paper and decorated with some 3D flower embellishments I had laying around.

You can click on that picture to see them close-up. They say:

"Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams

"Perhaps the greatest social service that can be rendered by anybody to this country and to mankind is to bring up a family." - George Bernard Shaw

"Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives." - William James

So, inspiring and it looks cute, right? It was so easy, too. I think I might do more!

Hi, first want to say this is a really elegant blog site - and only after I thought that did I see you do site design work. Very nice. This post caught my eye because my wife and I have opened a business making framed quotes, but not like anything else you've seen. We make tastefully designed prints that are collectible and interchangeable - the prints lift right off the front of our unique frame. And we created a very cool site where you can browse hundreds of quotes and preview them with up to 30 color/background combinations. The prints are not magnetic, so they can be stacked and spread out without sticking together. The quotes are authentic and intelligent. We don't sell bumperstickers, insults or obscenities. We offer smart choices to people who think and feel.
I'm sending a few select personal notes like this since it's our opening week and we're looking for feedback from people who obviously understand the idea behind our website. I am excited that we've gotten a great response so far - though I'm not too surprised. I really felt the world needed a site like QuotePalettes, and now our job is to simply grow the choices as far and as fast as we can for our customers.
I hope you like what you find and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks for the time!
