Just Another Lazy Sunday

Like Camryn's new onesie? Thanks to Jenn I got inspired last night and came up with some designs. Camryn had a few plain shirts so I made her a few. Summer is outgrowing all of her clothes so I'll have to buy her some to use. I have plans for a "Big Sister"/"Little Sister" set of t-shirts. I can't wait to make them!

Here's another one I made last night:

I love it. I think I might make a bigger one for Summer, too.

We're having a lazy Sunday. Joe and my dad and my cousin Richard went fishing at the lake this morning. They got up around 5AM and got back around 1PM. I don't think Joe and Rich fell asleep till 1:30 or so, so Joe is basically useless today. He and the girls are all taking naps. We had planned on going to the house to work on some small things today, but there really isn't too much that needs to be done before the carpet goes in, so we decided to stay home. I'm getting a lot of laundry done, and I'm going to try to make a nice dinner for the first time in weeks.

Summer and Camryn wanted to be babies, so Joe swaddled them...

Fisherman zombie on the couch:

I've got to go finish putting clothes away, so that I can make dinner, so that I can take a shower, so that I am ready for the 2 hour Desperate Housewives season finale tonight. I can't wait! It better be good. I finally watched the Grey's Anatomy finale on Friday, and I was an emotional wreck afterwards for hours. I still can't believe John Doe was George. Meredith's scream when she realized who he was scared the crap out of me, I guess I was one of the only people who didn't realize what was going on.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

I wuv yooooooo

A few minutes ago Summer was sitting on my bed with me while I played with my laptop's webcam. She's learning the first part of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. And of course every kid knows the Barney Song!

*20 Minutes Later*

Kids are in bed now. Camryn had a hard time settling down. Joe put her in her crib and she cried and cried. I went in and had to hold her for 10 minutes or so. It's not often a 16-month-old will let you hold and cuddle them for 10 minutes straight so I didn't mind. Summer and Camryn have both always been great about bedtime, ever since they were 8 weeks old, so it's okay if they have a rough time every now and then.

I am patiently waiting for Desperate Housewives to come on at 9. I've been watching it every Sunday for the last 2 seasons I believe, so I am really into the storyline. It's getting good :)

I made lemon and caper chicken piccata for dinner tonight. It was really good!

Now I'm wishing we had gotten some cinnamon rolls at Kroger earlier.

The diaper cake was a hit I believe. She seemed to really like it and I got a lot of compliments. There were a few pictures taken at the shower, as soon as they get posted on Facebook I'm going to steal them and post them on here.

I'd better finish putting the girls' clothes away so I can get comfortable for Desperate Housewives. I hope everyone had great weekends!
