"I think people are a lot like bananas."
"...How so?"
"Well, the stages of aging that we go through are really similar. Camryn and Summer are in the green stage..."
"Ohhhh, that makes sense. I guess I'm in the yellow stage?"
"Yes. And I'm in that stage where I'm yellow but really ripe with a few too many brown spots. You would still want to cut me up and put me on your cereal, though"
"Yea, definitely. If you were on my counter, I would let the girls eat you."
"Thanks. I appreciate that."
"No problem. That really is a brilliant comparison. You know I'm going to have to put this on my blog, right?"

That is a good comparison and I bet it made your mom feel good to hear that you would eat her. :)
That is so true. I never thought of it that way.

LOL that is a pretty good comparison :)
So true! I'm starting to get a few little brown spots. lol I love that you told your mom you would still let your girls eat her. Too funny!
LOL!
I think that comparison is great...and your previous post was so touching about your grandmother. It is so sad when you realize that your loved one is changed forever...and I agree take what you can. I am going to take all I can for as long as my dad is with us...
Much Love..Annmarie
LOL! Love it and it's so true!

Brilliant mommy you have, Steph!
LOL That's a great conversation and pretty darn true when you really think about it. ;)
