Jace’s First Christmas!
Baby’s first Christmas… does it get any more exciting?!
Hahaha… Camryn was saying, “Kleenex?!”
Xavier came upstairs and opened his gifts from us – a build-your-own car set, a Razor scooter, and a Cars helmet.
We always go to my parents’ house on Christmas morning to open presents and eat a big breakfast.
Baylee loved the hedgehog we got her.
Trying on my new scarf.
Robes!
My parents got the girls a really neat microscope set.
Joe trying on his new shirt from my uncle Jimmy.
After my parents’ house we went to my aunt Susan’s.
Nursing Jace while I open a gift.
These are terrible pictures, but they’re the only ones I have of all of us.
Just to keep it real…. these are the people I get to call my family:
More December
Most of these were on my phone. Looking back, I can’t believe how busy we were!
How cute are my nephew and niece?!
I wasn’t sure whether to add this in the mix or not, but…. this is my life! After all, I did start the hashtag #normalizebreastfeeding. He had been watching me try on dresses and couldn’t take it any longer.
Found this went I left to take Summer to school. So sweet.
We had two weddings we went to.. one was my cousin’s, which had an Old Hollywood theme and we were asked to dress in black and white.
That’s my girls, scaling the wall!
I’d say 80% of the blog and web designs I’ve completed in the last year have been done with a baby on my lap!
We were all sick off and on last month. Jace had a fever and couldn’t quite bring himself to sit up to play.
Here is a very rare moment: Me out with a friend instead of my kids. Christine and I went to see Breaking Dawn.
Fashionistas!
Joe, my brother, and I at my cousin’s band’s show.
At Papaw’s for Thanksgiving… protecting those little ears from the men shooting their guns.
The second wedding was one of my good friend’s… we’ve known each other since second grade! Her theme was similar… reminded me of Phantom of the Opera. Here is Jace with the gorgeous bride.
We were a little worried about how Jace would do with the ornaments, but it wasn’t too bad. He pulled them off, but one at a time and didn’t do much besides carry them around for a few minutes. We only had one casualty, that he banged on the fireplace. That’s not bad at all!
Jace got sick again just a week or so before Christmas.
He was feeling so bad. He fell asleep on the floor by my feet while I was folding laundry!
I have the sweetest kids!
One of my best friend’s daughters turned two. I can’t believe how fast she’s growing!
Haha… gotta love co-sleeping!
While we try to encourage Jace to fall asleep a a reasonable time, some times he has his own ideas. I believe I took this around 2AM.
Jace had his (kinda late) 9 month check-up.
Everything looked perfect The doctor said he was petite. I don’t see how he reached that conclusion.
The Sunday before Christmas, we went to my Nanaw and Papaw’s house to celebrate. My cousin’s baby is just a month older than Jace so it was fun watching the interact and the differences between them.
I was sitting on the couch working, with Jace playing at my feet. Next thing I know, I look over and he is standing by the tree eating a candy cane he had found hanging up. Sneaky!
Apparently Mommy and Daddy’s marathon Christmas shopping spree was too much for him.
On Christmas Eve we went to Joe’s dad’s.
I don’t know what it is with kids and these large stuffed animal products that are everywhere, but they were really excited about these things!
